Artist of the Month
 
 
Nancy Rhoads was chosen Artist of the Month in February with her watercolor "Near Utoya". That reference is to the island in Norway tat was the scene of a mass murder by an anti-political activist againstsome students that had gathered there. The bicycle reminded her of something left behind.
Kathy Detrano's pastel painting of "A Simple Row of Bushes" was choosen as Artist of the Month in March of 2017.
 

 

Gail McConnell's oil painting of "French Window Box" was choosen as Artist of the Month at the November meeting.

Raquel Egosi's mixed media painting "All About Love" was chosen as the Artist of the Month at the January 2017 meeting.
 
Nick Sacripante's painting was choosen as Artist of the Month at the September meeting.
Lisa Burke's mixed media painting of "Evening Sky" was choosen as Artist of the Month at our October meeting.
 
Terri Gonzalez was choosen Artist of the Month at our February 2016 meeting with her pastel painting of "Bikes on a Break"
Anneke Hulstein was choosen Artist of the Month at our March 2016 meeting with her pastel painting of "Beach Fun"
 
Tom Wilke was chosen Artist of the Month at our October 2015 meeting with his Acrylic portrait painting.
Trish Gregory was chosen Artist of the Month at our January 2016 meeting with her combination of two photos named "Celebration"

Carole Loiacono was chosen as our artist of the month at the February 2015 meeting with her watercolor painting “Harbor Berth”.

Jim Throne was our Artist of the Month for 2014 September with his 12 x 16 acrylic on canvas panel “Rabbi".
Judy Redder was chosen as our artist of the month at the2014 October meeting with her acrylic painting of “Saturday Afternoon in Judleville”. The painting is of 1950 in her hometown of Watertown NY..which she calls "Judleville"
 

Suzanne Natzke was chosen as  our artist of the month at the 2014 March meeting for her Watercolor painting “On The Rocks”.

Artist of the Month's Guidelines
  1. All artwork must be submitted by 1:15pm
  2. Balloting will take place between 1:15pm and 1:30pm
  3. Write clearly. The AotM manager will use his/her best judgment to decide what number is indicated if a question arises.
  4. The winner is responsible for delivering his/her painting to the Cultural Center within 24 hours and removing his/her painting by the next meeting.
  5. An artist may only win one time in a TSAA year, i.e. Sept-May
  6. Art must be no larger than 38" wide x 40" long/high, including frame.
